Drawing series · graphite, staining and erasure on paper
The Spine Remembers
/ The Labyrinth Returns
2022–ongoing
The spine appears as a bodily line; the labyrinth as an interior architecture — at once passage, blockage, memory and map.
The Spine Remembers / The Labyrinth Returns treats drawing as duration rather than image. Graphite, stain and erasure accumulate through repetition, hesitation and return. Anatomy slips into space, and space back into the body. I work until the paper begins to hold the time of making: not a finished image, but a structure that refuses completion.
