Rewoven

Ladakh

Images recur, altered by distance, atmosphere and memory, until place itself begins to feel less observed than remembered.

Rewoven begins in Ladakh, but refuses landscape as background.

Moving through windows, roads, bodies, animals, interiors and weather, the film gathers place through fragments rather than narrative. Small gestures surface and disappear: a body bends, a hand holds, a figure waits, a tree is bound. Working between observation and an ethnographic attention to the everyday, Rewoven asks how landscape enters the body — and what the body carries away from it.
